Covered-picture drawing card

• Three sheets: original / plain cover / new version.
• Original example: tree left, blue path, house right.
• Cover: hide house; keep whole tree and path beginning visible.
• Path reaches the cover's edge.
• Place covered original above blank sheet, same way up.
• New sheet: copy visible tree/path on left; leave right free.
• Help: adult may draw the visible beginning.
• Choose: where could the path lead?
• Draw one destination; extend path to reach it.
• Check: beginning and new place connect.
• Aim: invent a continuation, not guess the covered original.
• Optional reveal: after new drawing is finished.
• Keep child's continuation as made.
• Store: backs labelled “first picture” / “new version”.
