One loves foxes; another has chosen the star story. There is room for both in a shared letter, without comparisons or private inboxes the app does not provide.
Choose a greeting for the whole family.
When creating a new story, choose the whole family and your own family name. Edit the messages to address the children together. One day, destination and finale belong to the same journey.
A fictional message: “Each choose a page from your book today. Read your favorite parts together before the presents.” There is no need to promise different presents or praise who waited better.
A name does not make a message private.
Everyone with valid viewer access to the same journey sees all its delivered messages. Addressing one child does not hide the letter from a sibling or grandparent. Leave out confidential details.
Current new-story preparation offers one child, the whole family or no name. An individual greeting is not separate private delivery.
Read together on one device.
An adult can open the delivered message and read it aloud. Children can choose an offered reaction; they do not send free text or photographs and do not need accounts.
Read the whole story before sharing it.
Remove sibling comparisons and check the order and finale in private rehearsal. If someone would rather have quiet time without a screen, return to the family’s book.
