Plan your family’s Christmas story on one page

A date on the calendar, a conversation over supper and a thought about gifts can be easy to lose track of. Use the one-page family planner to collect the choices in one place. The page works on its own, whether or not you ever use an app.

All prompts are optional planning ideas, not verified Before the Magic form fields. The personalized family app is not publicly available. Its fictional preview takes no family details, and it does not test a personal journey.

Begin with a name and a feeling

Give the plan a short working name. Choose a storyteller only if your family wants one: Santa, Baby Jesus, another familiar figure or none. Write down the feeling you would like to keep, whether gentle, playful or quiet. No one tradition is assumed for a Canadian household.

Check the local place and date

Write where your celebration will happen and its local date, for example “living room at home, December 25”. If family members are in different places, the local date is clearer than an unqualified “Christmas morning”. You do not need a full address on a copy you might share.

Describe the gift moment in your own words: after breakfast, after supper or when everyone is ready. Keep the timing flexible if travel or other plans may change. This is your own planning note. We have not verified what a future app form asks or how it handles time zones.

Find a line that belongs to your family

Jot down one or two possible messages, perhaps a clue about a shared ritual. Do not put private family details on a sheet that may be left in view. In the fictional Moonlight House example, the feeling is gentle and playful, Santa tells the story, and the celebration is in the living room on December 25. Gifts appear after breakfast when everyone is ready. The example line is: “Meet beside the tree when everyone is ready.” None of this confirms product fields or message delivery.

Review before the day

Ask one adult to check the real place, date, gift moment and story voice. Edit a line when plans change and leave any unhelpful prompt empty. Open the one-page planner, then, if you wish, explore the fictional preview without sharing family details.
